Scope

This policy describes how Keller Williams Southland Partners ("we", "us", "the office") handles information in connection with its text message (SMS) reminder program for affiliated real estate agents. It applies only to that program.

Information we collect

To operate the reminder program we hold:

This information is provided directly by the agent to the office. We do not purchase, rent, or otherwise obtain phone numbers from third parties, and we do not collect numbers from people who are not affiliated with the office.

How we use it

Mobile numbers are used for one purpose only: sending operational reminder messages to the agent who provided the number. These include appointment reminders, office meeting and event notices, and training class reminders. We do not use the reminder program for marketing, advertising, or promotional messages.

We do not share your mobile number

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as our SMS messaging provider, is permitted solely to deliver the messages described in this policy. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We do not sell, rent, or trade mobile phone numbers under any circumstance.

Consent

Agents provide prior written consent to receive text messages from the office as part of their affiliation paperwork. Signed consent records are retained by the office. Consent is not a condition of affiliation, employment, or any purchase.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies with office activity. A recipient typically receives fewer than ten messages per month.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. The office does not charge for these messages; any charges come from your own mobile carrier under your service plan.

Opting out

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation message and nothing after that. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at the address below. Opting out of text messages does not remove you from office email reminders.

Retention and security

Contact details are retained for as long as the agent is affiliated with the office, and opt-out records are retained afterward so that a request to stop is honored permanently. Data is stored on access-controlled systems operated for the office.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted at this address with an updated date.
